Dental benefits expand on July 1, 2016: Adults may qualify for more OHP dental services

Dear Columbia Pacific CCO member, On July 1, 2016, the following dental services will be available for adults age 21 and older:

  • Full dentures every 10 years and partial dentures every 5 years, if recommended by your dentist, no matter how long you’ve been without teeth
  • Care for gum disease (periodontia) every six months
  • Special cleaning or periodontal (gum disease) cleaning every two years
  • Stainless steel crowns for molars (back teeth)

What does this mean for you?

You’re getting more benefits! Adults already have basic dental care that includes exams, cleanings, fluoride, fillings and tooth removals. Starting on July 1, we also will pay for the services above if your dentist thinks you need them.
