Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization is pleased to announce that it has awarded $15,000 to two innovative community wellness programs in Tillamook County.
The Columbia Pacific CCO board of directors created the Community Wellness Investment Fund to encourage innovation, collaboration and health care transformation in the communities it serves. The funds are designated to support local efforts that are sustainable and aligned with the local community’s priorities for addressing gaps in health care access and services.
Funds were awarded to the following projects and organizations:
Tillamook Family Counseling Center was awarded $7,500 to expand parenting classes and parent workshops for parents, relative foster care providers, care providers and grandparents raising grandchildren.
Tillamook Serenity Club was awarded more than $7,500 to increase and strengthen outreach and prevention education and resource support to teens in Tillamook County and start an over-eaters support program.
