Columbia Pacific Community Advisory Council Member
A barber gets a good sense of the world, even in a small town.
“Life is challenging,” says Ron, proprietor of Ron’s Barber Shop in Tillamook. “I believe that this life is just a stepping stone.”
Ron has had to begin a new career. He has been sole parent to his daughter, Ronnie Alyssa. He’s endured the challenge of insulin-dependent diabetes with no health insurance.
Now he shares his experiences as a member of the Community Advisory Council for Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization.
“Things happen for a reason,” Ron says. “I don’t always understand those reasons. But I believe I am where God wants me at this point.”
